Queenstown Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
The B and B on the Hill at No. 1 Earnslaw Terrace, Queenstown is an early 1970's house which has undergone a complete refurbishment during 2010.
The house has been recently purchased by Sue Wilson,
following her arrival in Queenstown in 2010, with
permission to run a Bed & Breakfast, hosted accommodation from
her home. Sue has been drawn to New Zealand as she has
family both here and in Sydney. Following the refurbishment of the property Sue opened for business on 30 December 2010.
The house has been fitted with new shower rooms, kitchen,
furnishings, double glazing and has been well insulated for the
colder months! The panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and
the Mountains can be enjoyed uninterrupted from the
living/dining/balcony areas and the Lake Bedroom.
Situated on the corner of Earnslaw and Panorama Terraces,
The B & B on the Hill is well away from the main thorough fares
of Queenstown and offers a quiet stay, although close to the
centre of town. Queenstown centre is within easy walking
distance (about 15 minutes), 3 minutes in the car or a few
dollars in a taxi, depending on the time of day!
All the attractions of Queenstown and the surrounding area
are close at hand and can be enjoyed during Spring, Summer and
Autumn when the area offers a pleasant climate. In
addition during Winter there are the ski/snowboarding slopes of
Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, within a 20 minute drive by
car or the bus service is a few minutes walk away. About
an hours drive are the ski areas of Cardrona, Treble Cone and
Waiorau Snow Farm, near Wanaka.
The airport at Frankton is 5 minutes drive and collection and
drop off can be arranged.
The B & B on the Hill, Queenstown, offers a relaxing and
peaceful atmosphere to return to after the day’s activities.
Sue is available to offer advice and information as well as
looking after you!
